Maintenance
Sceneries need maintenance, sometimes ILS or other
navaids change their frequency in real live, the
layout of runways and taxiways changes or simply
gate assignments need to be updated. Without an
appropriate scenery update the scenerie might not
fit anymore to the ground and approach charts of the
airport, which might cause some problems at least
with on-line flying. Unfortunately only a few
scenerie authors and publisher offer a notification
service for scenery updates. The only way to
overcome this dilemma is a regular review of
publisher websites, avsim, and
freewaresceneries.com.

As global environment I use FS Global 2010. FS
Global 2010 is a worldwide terrain mesh. It modifies
the elevation of existing terrain.
